This is another generic Hi! I'm New post ;)
I live in the wonderous center of Canada where all there is to do is a) go to the movies b) go bowling or c) go to a club. I started ballroom before I was old enough to club, which of course, is option d.
I dance most types, but focus mainly on salsa, tango, and west coast swing.

:) Salsa musics easy, and so is west coast, but I've found that finding fun tango music is tougher. Does anyone have any suggestions?

What kind of Tango? American or Argentine? If you have a slightly less than legal friend there's a few torrents out there that have both American and Argentine tango music. Alternatively, :) http://www.ballroomdancers.com/ has cds advertised where you can listen to a little bit of the music before you buy. My husband and I listen to a lot of Nuevo, so we listen to Baja Fando, some Gotan Project, Tanghetto, and Narco Tango, to name a few. I'm sure someone else will be along soon to add more!

One other thing is to listen to the music on the radio, there's actually a lot of regular music that you can dance either Tango style too. This is actually what we've started doing a lot, based on the idea that you don't have to use specific "dance" music to dance to. :) For example, we did an Ar. Tango to ACDC's Edge of Heaven. Have fun and welcome!
